Rep. Abass Adigun facilitated ICT training for youths participants between the 21st and 24th of February 2022.
The federal lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East/South-East federal constituency, Hon. Abass Adigun facilitated a four-day ICT training for selected youth and womens in the federal constituency.
The training which availed participants the opportunity to undergo introductory training on Microsoft, Computer Graphics design and the use of graphics software, as well as refresher course on computer appreciation, was part of the federal lawmaker’s continuous investment in human capital development.
It was a move by the performing lawmaker to empower young people in his constituency, availing them the platform to compete in the ICT and education driven
economy.
It is important to note that the ICT training is a Start to upcoming empowerment program for youth and womens in a few days time.
Rep. Abass A. Adigun has facilitated empowerment programmes for women and youths of his constituency including:
– Training of 200 youths and women on
skill development and capacity building on
Duvet(bedsheet, Pillow case) and associated businesses.
– Training of over 350 unemployed youths
and women on the assessment of microfinance banking systems (POS).
– Vocational training for
250 youths on phone repair.
and equipping 300 youths in different areas of their specialisation like fashion designing and hairdresser and womens with a grinding machine.
