Just In: Oyo First Lady, Mrs. Makinde Flag-off Rep. Abass Agboworin Women Training And Empowerment Program.

Oyo State First Lady, Mrs Funke Tamunominini Makinde flagged off the training and empowerment program of women in various snacks and provision of cooking equipment for the making of various snacks and startup grants in Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency facilitated by Rep. Abass Adigun popularly known as Agboworin which was held at He Cares Center, Felele Challenge, Ibadan.

The training and empowerment were in conjunction with the National Productivity Center, Abuja in which the program was designed to train and empower unemployed women to acquire various skills in Cake Baking, Small Chops, Puff-Puff, Meat/Fish Pie, Crunchy Buns, and Egg Buns, Sandwiches, Sharwama, Making of non-alcoholic Drinks, Doughnuts, Sausages and Fish Rolls.

The federal lawmaker who is also the Chairman House Committee on Narcotic Drugs is part of the lawmaker quest to continue lifting youths in his constituents from poverty to become self-reliant and also improve their economic status in their various communities which is always a human-oriented and are always towards building a better tomorrow for the people of his federal constituency.

The empowerment training program will take two weeks for women under his constituency in which certificates, equipment, and cash capital will be given to each participant to kick-start their businesses.

It is an obvious fact that Hon. Abass Agboworin is a human capacity builder. He has epitomized on several occasions that the sustainability and the improved standard of living of the people are paramount, and considered, and by giving total attention, via his empowerment,t he has made exorbitant impacts and successes.

The Green Chamber lawmaker appreciated his constituents for their support and confidence reposed in him during the last general election, saying he will continue to represent them and ensure more dividends of democracy get to them.
