The federal lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East/South-East federal constituency, Hon. Abass Adigun (Agboworin) has facilitated empowerment training of youths in emerging opportunities in the creative industry for artisans across the federal constituency.
The programme was organised in conjunction with Maximar Global Services Ltd, Hon. Abass Adigun is aimed at equipping participants with essential skills which will encourage them to make a great impact in the society.
Participants were exposed to how to repair android phones, iPad, tablets and other gadgets in a few days training which starts today 22nd February – 23rd February, 2022.
On the final day of the empowerment program, they will receive start-up cash and support kits at the end of the special training programme.
Other coming up programs includes:
- Training of 200 youths and women on skill development and capacity building on
Duvet (bedsheet, Pillow case) and associated businesses. - Training of over 250 unemployed youths and women on the assessment of microfinance banking system (POS).
- Equipping 300 youths in different areas of their specialisation like fashion designing and hairdresser and womens with a grinding machine.
