EDUCATION 2024: REP. AGBOWORIN DISTRIBUTES THOUSANDS OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN HIS CONSTITUENCY

Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) distributes educational materials which includes school bags, notebooks and textbooks to primary schools and secondary schools students in his federal constituency which was held at Lagelu Grammar School, Agugu Ibadan in Ibadan North-East LG which is the continuation of his outstanding representation at the floor of the Green chamber of the National Assembly.

The school materials for primary and junior secondary schools in Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal constituency was in conjunction with National Productivity Centre, National Boundary Commission in which the programme was designed to provide educational materials to improve, encourage and enhance the success of students in their various academics activities, 80 schools was represented by a teacher and two students each.

The federal lawmaker who is also the Chairman House Committee On Narcotics Drug, has always boasted pupils and students engagement in academic activities which is another means of encouraging, motivating pupils to learn and becoming self-reliant in the future.

Education helps to shape and build the characters of the pupils, to train them on leadership and how they can take responsibility for community development, which is always towards building a better tomorrow for the future of his federal constituency, Oyo and Nigeria as a whole.

The distribution of educational materials was done by Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Prof Saliu Abdul-waheed Adelabu, S.A Federal constituency matters, Hon. Dare Adeleke, Tescom Chairman, Baba Alamu, Hon. Abiodun Ekolo and others.

Also in attendance were S.A To the Governor on Education Intervention, Hon. Tiamiyu, Ibadan North East LG Chairman , Hon. Ibraheem Akintayo, Engr. Akinleye (Secretary Ibadan NorthEast LG), Baba Fatokun Isiaka Abuye (Ibadan North East PDP chairman), Ibadan South East Vice chairman, Chief Olayinka Banjo (Bigger), Leader Remi Yusuf and others.

Appreciating the lawmaker, one of the teacher present, Mr Olalekan Olaniyi joyfully extolled Rep. Abass Adigun, as the man with large heart who has made tremendous efforts in bringing dividends of democracy to his constituents, encourage other leaders to emulate him so as to develop education in our society.
