Rep. Abass Agboworin Mourns Passing Of Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, Condole Skimeh & DeeGov

Member House Of Representatives representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Hon. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) has expressed and extended his heartfelt condolences to the Oyo state government, the people of Oyo State, Oyo town and particularly to his friends, Hon. Adeyemi Akeem Adeniyi (Skimeh) and Hon. Adebayo Adeyemi (Dee Gov) chairman Oyo State Pensioners Board, and Nigeria, on the demise of a great monarch and leader of Yoruba race, The Alafia Of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III.

Hon. Abass Adigun said, Oba Adeyemi promotes the rich Yoruba culture and heritage of the Yorubas and provides wise counsel to those who sought guidance from the throne.

Oba Adeyemi was a great ruler, who displayed kindness to his people, espousing the virtues of diligence and love for humanity during his fifty-year spell on the throne, Oyo witnessed numerous transformations and transitions, Hon. Abass asserted.

He commiserate with the Government and people of Oyo State, the Oyo Kingdom, family, friends, associates and well-wishers, and prays that Almighty Allah grant the repose soul Al Jannah Firdausi and grant all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
