Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Vice-chairman House Committee On Airforce, Hon. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) distributed sport kits and materials to Secondary schools under his federal constituency which was held at Loyola College, Sawmill Ibadan in Ibadan North-East LG which is the continuation of his outstanding representation at the floor of the Green chamber of the National Assembly.
The sporting materials for Secondary schools in Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal constituency was in conjunction with National Productivity Centre in which the programme was designed to provide sport materials to improve, encourage and enhance the success of students in their various sports activities like volleyball, football, basketball and some other track events.
The federal lawmaker who is also the Vice Chairman, House Committee on Air force is part of the lawmaker’s quest to boost students’ engagement in sport activities which is another means of learning and becoming self-reliant in the future.
Sports are used in secondary schools to shape and build the characters of the pupils, to train them on leadership and how they can take responsibility for community development, which is always towards building a better tomorrow for the people of his federal constituency.
Each school was represented by their game master and game prefect.
Appreciating the lawmaker, the game master of Bashorun High School, joyfully extolled Hon. Abass Adigun, as the man with a large heart who has made tremendous efforts in bringing dividends of democracy to his constituents.
