Rep. Abass Agboworin is a man whose antecedents speak for itself. For the Purpose of records, few amongst the many achievements as a Member House of representatives are; provision of motorised boreholes across Ibadan North-East/South-East federal constituency, Provision and Installation of solar street lights and transformers in communities, he has also purchased two new ambulance for checking and testing on basic care of his people, Students scholarships, Paid several medical bills, tuition fees, timely Interventions in critical conditions for the people, Securing employments for people in federal ministries, facilitation of the reconstruction of some feeder roads, enlistment of youths, womens into federal government intervention programmes, distribution of Tricycles, Motorcycles, distribution of laptops to graduate and undergraduates, water pump machines, sewing machines, grinding machines, deep freezers, generator sets, distribution of many medical items to medical health centre s, maternity centres, training and empowerment of youth’s on Agricultural business, training and empowerment of youths and women’s on Duvets making, enlisted youths in Nigeria Navy, Nigeria Army and Nigeria Air force, task forces, Nimc and others. Supporting of market men and women’s with Grants, enlistment of special for grants ( Mega Empowerment twice) to mention few, he’s complimenting the efforts of Oyo State Government under the able leadership of His Excellency, Governor Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, We all know the primary objective of a Legislator is to make laws, Rep. (The Amendment was agreed to). - AN AMENDMENT TO PRAYER (IV) OF THE MOTION ON THE NEED TO SET UP N15 BILLION CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY FUND FOR NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES AND TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS WHERE IN THE PROPOSED THAT URGE THE FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENT TO SET UP TESTING CENTRES IN NIGER INSTITUTIONS IN NIGERIA UPON THEIR RESUMPTION. (The Amendment was agreed to).
- A MOTION ON THE NEED TO ENFORCE THE USAGE OF PEDESTRIAN BRIDGES ON HIGHWAYS IN NIGERIA.
- A MOTION ON THE URGENT NEED FOR THE NIGERIA CUSTOMS SERVICE TO ADHERE STRICTLY TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EXECUTIVE ORDER ON THE EASE OF DOING BUSINESS IN NIGERIA.
The above listed achievements glaringly shows that Member House of Representative, Abass Adigun at the green chamber has not only been productive but also has been a fantastic representative in all ramifications.
Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin is well respected and accepted by his constituents, Oyo State and many Nigerians for speaking from their point views and doing the right things appropriately.
