Asiwaju Wasiu Kongi Appreciates Stakeholders, Congratulates APM Chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates

Asiwaju Wasiu Kongi Olanrewaju, one of the aspirants for the Ibadan South-East Local Government Chairmanship position in the recently concluded Allied Peoples Movement (APM) primary election, has expressed profound appreciation to all stakeholders, leaders, party members and supporters who stood by him throughout his aspiration.

In a statement, Asiwaju Kongi thanked the leadership of the party, political leaders, stakeholders, delegates, youths, women and loyal members for their overwhelming encouragement, prayers and unwavering support during the primary process. He noted that their confidence and commitment remain a source of inspiration and strength.

He also congratulated the Chairmanship candidate, Vice Chairmanship candidate and all the Councillorship candidates who emerged across the wards in Ibadan South-East Local Government. According to him, their emergence reflects the confidence reposed in them by the party and presents another opportunity to provide purposeful leadership and quality representation at the grassroots.

Asiwaju Kongi further expressed his sincere appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, for his continued leadership and commitment to promoting peace, unity and democratic values. He equally commended the stakeholders, leaders and members of APM in Ibadan South-East Local Government for conducting themselves peacefully throughout the primary election.

While reaffirming his unwavering commitment to the progress of the party, Asiwaju Kongi pledged his full support for all the party’s candidates ahead of the forthcoming local government election. He urged members to remain united, set aside all differences and work collectively to secure victory for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), emphasizing that the shared objective is the growth, development and prosperity of Ibadan South-East Local Government.
