Agboworin Hails Makinde, Congratulates APM Chairmanship, Vice Chairman, Councillorship Candidate In Ibadan South-East LG

The lawmaker representing Ibadan North-East/Ibadan South-East Federal Constituency, Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin, has congratulated the newly emerged Allied People’s Movement (APM) chairmanship, vice chairmanship and councillorship candidates for Ibadan South-East Local Government Area.

Agboworin, in a statement issued by his Media Group in Ibadan on Monday, described their emergence as a testament to the confidence reposed in them by the party leadership and members, urging them to justify the trust by remaining committed to service, unity and grassroots development.

The federal lawmaker also appealed to other aspirants who were not successful in the party’s selection process to accept the outcome in good faith and remain steadfast in their commitment to the progress of the APM.

He stressed that every party member has a critical role to play in ensuring the party’s success in the forthcoming local government elections and beyond.

Agboworin commended the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his exemplary leadership, political maturity and unwavering commitment to unity within the party.

He assured the party’s candidates of his full support throughout the electioneering process and expressed confidence that they would work tirelessly to earn the trust of the electorate and deliver purposeful, people-oriented leadership if elected.
