The Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, has revealed that the President of Sierra Leone, Mr Julius Maada Bio, will be visiting the Fashola Farm in Oyo State, to explore some business opportunities, especially in the Agricultural Sector.
Governor Makinde made the comments during his remarks at the ongoing 2025 African Business Forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The Fashola Farm, which will be visited by the President, is a model farm that showcases best practices in agriculture and agribusiness. The farm is expected to provide valuable insights and lessons for Sierra Leone’s agricultural sector.


During the visit, the President will discuss potential collaborations in agriculture, trade, and investment. Governor Makinde has been instrumental in promoting agribusiness in Oyo State, and his administration has launched several initiatives to support farmers and entrepreneurs.
At the sessions of the Africa Business Forum 2025, Governor Makinde discussed with other world leaders what Oyo State, as a subnational has been doing in order to create conducive environment for investment and trade.
