Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Vice-chairman House Committee On Airforce, Hon. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) continued to display outstanding leadership qualities and sincerity of purpose immediately after the presidential and National Assembly election, he facilitated the poverty alleviation empowerment and vocational training of 100 widows in Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency.

The training and empowerment was in conjunction with BORDER COMMUNITIES DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (BCDA) in collaboration with Skylight Engineering Services Ltd in which the programme was designed to train and employ widows to acquire skills in small chops.

The federal lawmaker who is also the Vice Chairman, House Committee on Air force is part of the lawmaker quest to help the widows to become self-reliant and also improve their economic status in their various communities which are always human oriented and are always towards building a better tomorrow for the people of his federal constituency. The empowerment training/programs for widows in which cash capitals were given to the participants to kick-start their businesses.

The green chamber lawmaker appreciated his constituents for their support and confidence reposed on him, saying he will continue to represent them and ensure dividends of democracy get to them.

Appreciating the lawmaker, Mrs. Rasheed Balikis described Agboworin as “Mr Talk & Do” and expressed delight that the federal lawmaker has through various entrepreneurship programs, improved the living standards of his constituents through empathetic and people-centred representation.
