Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Hon. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) sympathised with the market men and women of Araromi spare part market, Agodi gate, Ibadan over the fire incident that gutted the market.
In a statement by his director of communication and media, Aremu Ibraheem, he was deeply saddened by the destruction of goods and property due to the inferno which started around 2:30 am.
Hon. Abass Adigun shares in the pains of those who lost their properties and belongings in the unfortunate fire incident.
“It is with heavy heart that I received the news of the fire outbreak that gutted a building’s goods worth billions of naira in Araromi spare part market, Agodi gate in Ibadan North-East Local Government under his constituency.
Hon. Abass Adigun commiserates with the victims of the inferno because the incident has caused disruption to their economic activities. He urged the traders to remain calm as the government is working on how to support them in order to bring their economic activities back to life.
Hon. Abass Agboworin promised to visit the scene of the inferno as soon as possible and also confirmed that the present administration in Oyo State under the leadership of Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde will come to the aid of victims of the inferno by providing palliatives within the shortest possible time.
