Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency who is also the Vice chairman House Committee On Airforce, Hon. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) celebrates Nigerians on the occasion of our nation’s 61st independence anniversary.
In a statement released by his director of communications and media, Aremu Ibraheem, the federal lawmaker further called on all Nigerians both at home and in diaspora to always promote peace, charity and love for unity and oneness of our nation, Nigeria to overcome all challenges facing our nation presently.
Speaking on development in Oyo State, he hailed Governor Seyi Makinde for his infrastructural development and people’s focused policies, especially inclusion of youths in government and Oyo oriented programs like training 10,000 Oyo State youths on agric – business that is touching life positively.
On this day, we remember all the grief and suffering that Nigerians had to endure to achieve the long-awaited freedom, independence, and sovereignty of our country. He congratulate all the inhabitants of this beautiful country, Nigeria. May joy, love, smile, luck and peace continue to thrive in our homeland.
