The Oyo State Executive Council (ExCo) met on Tuesday, 5 November 2024 and approved the following:
The remodeling and revamping of two technical colleges in Ibadan and Saki according to the World Bank Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) standard.
The sum of N1,153,414,098.81 was approved for the first phase which is the construction of the required infrastructure in the colleges.
The ExCo also approved the following projects:
Asphaltic rehabilitation of some selected roads within Old and New Bodija, Ibadan to Picoraod Company Limited at a sum of N5,699,605,207.16 for a duration of eight (8) months.
Asphaltic rehabilitation of the road network, construction of parking lots and repair of Freedom Flyover within Oyo State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan by direct labour intervention of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport in the sum of N3,720,650,581.48 for a duration of eight (8) months.
Asphaltic rehabilitation of the dualised Molete Under Bridge – Idi Odo – Challenge Junction for the sum of N3,373,450,592.13 and Felele Idi Odo Junction – Splash Fm Radio Station – Onigari Felele Expressway for the sum of N2,620,081,673.78 (a total sum of N5,993,532,265.91) awarded to Ratcon Construction Company Limited for a duration of eight (8) months.
