Hon. Akeem Adeojo, son of the late Seriki of Yorubaland, Alhaji Yekini Ayoade Adeojo, described Alhaji Rasheed Omookuorun as not only a respected leader but also a cherished brother and companion to his late father. He recalled the deep bond they shared, marked by mutual respect, joy, and unity. “Alhaji Rasheed Omookuorun was a true brother to our late father, who fondly called him ‘Aboru.’ Their relationship symbolized unity and brotherhood, and we are proud to see that spirit continue through this appointment,” Hon. Adeojo said.
As the bearer of a great legacy, the Adeojo family expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for this blessing, emphasizing that Alhaji Rasheed’s appointment as Seriki is a continuation of the values of leadership, humility, and service exemplified by the late Alhaji Yekini Ayoade Adeojo.
