Governor Makinde Belongs To Nobody, But Everybody | Hon. Abass Adigun (AGBOWORIN)
Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency who is also the Vice chairman House Committee On Airforce, Hon. Abass A. Adigun said the employment of 5000 teacher’s, 692 education officers and the recent ongoing 10,000 youths undergoing agribusiness training shows that Governor Seyi Makinde belongs to the Oyo state electorate and not a section or a particular group of the State.
The federal lawmaker said in a statement released through his director of communication and media, Aremu Ibraheem, the action of the Governor Makinde has shown that he does not belong to any section, group or religion other than to the good people of Oyo State.
He is the father of the state, adding that the state’s political history was replete with great acts of exemplary leadership displayed by the Governor Seyi Makinde by giving all the electorate a sense of belonging irrespective of religion and gender, Hon. Adigun Agboworin said.
He noted that Governor Makinde had in less than three years in office written authentic history and proved that he was for Oyo State people in all ramifications.
Governor Makinde has successfully changed the narrative by reversing the injustice done to Oyo State workers, retirees, pensioners and citizens by previous administration through improved welfarism, merit promotions, timely payment of salaries and arrears.
