Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Chairman House Committee On Narcotics Drugs, Rep. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) continued displaying outstanding leadership and quality representation, he facilitated the training and empowerment of women in various snacks and provision of cooking equipment for the making of various snacks and startup grants for women in Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency.
The training program was flagged off on the 16th of October, 2023 at He Cares Center, Felele Ibadan by Oyo State First Lady, Mrs. Olufunke Tamunominini Makinde which ends today Friday 27th October, 2023.
Women in the Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal constituency were trained and will be equipped with various cooking equipment and start-up grants in their various types of acquired skills like Cake Baking, Small Chops, Puff-Puff, Meat/Fish Pie, Crunchy Buns, and Egg Buns, Sandwiches, Sharwama, Making of non-alcoholic Drinks, Doughnuts, Sausages and Fish Rolls.
Participating Mrs. Kolawale appreciated the federal lawmaker behavior of all participants, and said it is part of the lawmaker’s quest to continue lifting women in his constituents from poverty to become self-reliant and also improve their economic status in their various communities which is always a human-oriented named Rep. Abass Adigun Agboworin a human capacity builder.
