A Sacred Month of Mercy and Devotion – Ramadan Felicitations to the Muslim Ummah

With profound joy and gratitude, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah as we embark on the spiritual journey of Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer, and self-reflection. This blessed season serves as a divine opportunity for purification, spiritual elevation, and a deeper connection with Almighty Allah.

Ramadan is not merely a period of abstinence from food and drink but, more importantly, a time to strengthen our faith, refine our character, and renew our commitment to righteousness. It is a call to embody the noble virtues of peace, love, compassion, humility, and generosity, which are the bedrock of Islam.

As we fast and engage in acts of worship, let us:

✅ Promote Peace – Let our words and actions reflect the teachings of Islam, which emphasize peace, unity, and harmonious coexistence. In our homes, communities, and the nation at large, may we be ambassadors of peace.

✅ Show Love and Compassion – Ramadan teaches us to care for one another, especially the less privileged. Let us extend a helping hand to the needy, support the weak, and share our blessings with others.

✅ Strengthen Family and Community Bonds – This holy month is an opportunity to rekindle family ties, mend broken relationships, and foster a spirit of togetherness. May love and understanding prevail in our homes and society.

✅ Pray for Our Nation – As we seek Allah’s mercy and guidance, let us remember to pray for our dear nation, Nigeria. May peace, unity, and prosperity reign in our land, and may our leaders be guided with wisdom and justice.

I pray that Almighty Allah accepts our fasts, answers our prayers, and grants us the strength to continue in righteousness beyond Ramadan. May we emerge from this holy month spiritually renewed, more united, and filled with Allah’s boundless blessings.

Ramadan Mubarak!
