The Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Energy Security, Hon. Abiodun Adedoja Ekolo, has expressed profound joy over the successful rescue and safe return of the school children who were abducted in Orire Local Government Area, describing the development as a victory for humanity and a testament to Governor Seyi Makinde’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property in Oyo State.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Hon. Ekolo commended Governor Makinde for his prompt intervention, strategic leadership, and relentless support for security agencies throughout the rescue operation. He said the Governor’s refusal to relent until the children regained their freedom demonstrated genuine compassion, responsible leadership, and an administration that places the safety and well-being of its people above all else.
“The successful rescue of these innocent children has restored hope to their families and brought relief to the entire people of Oyo State. It is a moment of gratitude to Almighty God and a reminder that with determined leadership and effective security collaboration, difficult challenges can be overcome,” Ekolo stated.
He also applauded the gallant security operatives, intelligence personnel, local authorities, and everyone who played one role or another in ensuring the children were reunited safely with their families.
