The Director General of the Oyo State Investment and Public-Private Partnership Agency (OYSIPA), Mr. Tilewa Folami, on Monday, April 27, 2026, commissioned a block of four public toilets and a borehole water project at Ori-Aje Secondary School, Ward 11, Ibadan South-East Local Government Area.

The newly constructed facilities include a block of modern toilets, a functional borehole, a generator set, water closets, and a reliable running water system aimed at improving hygiene and sanitation within the school.

The school principal, Mr. Sule Abdul-Fatai Abiodun, highlighted the importance of the project to both students and staff. He commended Mr. Folami for his continuous support to the school and the Ori-Aje community, noting that efforts are also ongoing to improve electricity supply in the school.

“On behalf of the teachers and students of Ori-Aje Secondary School, we sincerely appreciate Mr. Tilewa Folami for prioritising our welfare and health,” he said.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Sulaimon Adesina (World-Best) recalled previous interventions in the school, including the construction of a fully equipped block of six classrooms by Hon. Abass Adigun (Agboworin). He stressed the need for proper maintenance of the new facilities to encourage further developmental projects.

The Ibadan South-East PDP Chairman, Mr. Olajide Emmanuel, described the project as a timely intervention, noting that it has put an end to the long-standing challenge of open defecation among students and teachers. He urged Mr. Folami to sustain his support for the community.
Hon. Yinka Omikunle also lauded Mr. Folami’s achievements, expressing confidence that more impactful projects would follow, describing him as a simple, intelligent, and kind-hearted individual.

Community leader, Baba Adigun, revealed that Mr. Folami acted promptly after being informed about the school’s challenges. He noted that the intervention has significantly improved both the learning environment and general welfare of students and staff.

In his remarks, Mr. Tilewa Folami assured residents of Ibadan South-East Local Government of continued delivery of democratic dividends. He also aligned his efforts with the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde, stating that the Omituntun 3.0 agenda remains committed to providing effective and quality governance for the people.

Dignitaries present at the event included Elder Adegoke, Elder Be-Smart, Baba Adigun, the Ibadan South-East LG PDP PRO, Hon. Jimoh, Ward 11 PDP Chairman Adebayo Lukman, alongside other party executives, members, and supporters.
