Hon. Abiodun Adedoja Ekolo, Special Adviser on Energy Security to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has commended the Governor for his visionary leadership and continued respect for the cultural heritage and traditional institutions of Oyo State.
He described the establishment of the Oyo State Traditional Council as a historic step that reinforces the vital role of traditional rulers in governance, peacebuilding, and grassroots development. Hon. Ekolo also praised the Oyo State House of Assembly for providing the legal framework for the council, noting the strong collaboration between the executive and legislative arms of government.
Hon. Ekolo congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his appointment as Chairman of the council, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of his wisdom, experience, and commitment to unity and progress.
He expressed confidence that the council will promote unity, stability, and socio-cultural development across the state, and urged all stakeholders to support its activities for the continued peace and prosperity of Oyo State.
