Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Vice chairman House Committee On Airforce, Hon. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) has donated health equipment to hospitals, health care centres and maternity’s in Ibadan North-East and Ibadan South-East Local Government Areas in his constituency.
Health delivery centres in Ibadan North-East/South-East federal constituency have received a boost with the donation of hospital equipment by the federal lawmaker representing the area in the National Assembly, Hon. Abass Adigun (Agboworin).
The distribution of the hospital equipment will be held at the each local Government health headquarters among hospitals, health care-centres and maternity’s.
In a statement released through his director of communication and media, Aremu Ibraheem said the equipment was to help residents in the area to have better and easier access to quality healthcare.
He said it was also a reflection of the commitment to improve the wellbeing of the people of his constituency particularly their health.
Hon. Abass Adigun promised more commitment to people-oriented projects when he marked his second year in office.
“Health is wealth. Our party believes in the well being of the people”.
He expressed appreciation to the executive Governor Seyi Makinde who has renovated and equipped some primary health centers in his constituency.
The Directors of the Primary Healthcare in the two council areas, Dr Bosede and Dr Mary said the initiative will help address the deficit in the health centers in the area, they also appreciated Hon. Abass Adigun distribution of the medical equipment for making the people’s need a priority.
